This is a digital download of a PDF file with step-by-step instructions, a material list, a modification page to make the emu version, and more.

This pattern is written using US crochet terms. Knowledge of basic crochet stitches is required to complete this Cassowary and/or Emu plush toy.

Materials used:

• Bulky plush yarn (e.g. Patti’s Plush) Blue, Red, Black, Grey (replace Red with Brown if making the Emu)
• Crochet hook (I use a 5mm or 5.5mm hook)
• Safety eyes (I use 10mm)
• Polyfil
• Stitch marker
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors

Time to make: This varies for every crocheter, however I make this pattern in under 1 hour, as did many of my testers.
